Welcome To Long Island
Introduction
Long Island, island in the Atlantic Ocean that comprises the southeasternmost part of New York state, U.S. The island lies roughly parallel to the southern shore of Connecticut, from which it is separated to the north by Long Island Sound. Long Island's western end forms part of the harbour of New York City. The island has four counties; from west to east they are Kings, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk. Long Island is famous for beaches, bagels, and Billy Joel. It's also home to beautiful sights like the Oheka Castle, Montauk lighthouse, and the Vanderbilt estate. Just like its namesake Long Island iced tea, this place has a lot of different elements all in one place.
